facilitate the analysis of genomic annotations from the
'GENCODE' database &lt;https://www.gencodegenes.org/&gt;, supporting
both human and mouse genomes. This toolkit enables users to
extract, filter, and analyze a wide range of annotation
features including genes, transcripts, exons, and introns
across different 'GENCODE' releases. It provides functionality
for cross-version comparisons, allowing researchers to
systematically track annotation updates, structural changes,
and feature-level differences between releases. In addition,
the package can generate high-quality FASTA files containing
donor and acceptor splice site motifs, which are formatted for
direct input into the 'MaxEntScan' tool (Yeo and Burge, 2004
&lt;doi:10.1089/1066527041410418&gt;), enabling accurate calculation
of splice site strength scores.</description><link>https://github.com/r-universe/monahton/actions/runs/39589060070</link><pubDate>Thu, 05 Feb 2026 19:13:24 GMT</pubDate><r:package>GencoDymo2</r:package><r:version>1.0.4</r:version><r:status>success</r:status><r:repository>https://monahton.r-universe.dev</r:repository><r:upstream>https://github.com/monahton/GencoDymo2</r:upstream><r:article><r:source>GencoDymo2_vignette.Rmd</r:source><r:filename>GencoDymo2_vignette.html</r:filename><r:title>GencoDymo2: Comprehensive Analysis of GENCODE Annotations and Splice Site Motifs</r:title><r:created>2025-04-28 13:42:20</r:created><r:modified>2025-08-21 08:13:48</r:modified></r:article></item><item><title>[monahton] NatChat 1.1.0</title><author>aboualezz.monah@hsr.it (Monah Abou Alezz)</author><description>The goal of NatChat is to provide fast,
local-language-model-powered summaries of articles from the
current issues of Nature journals, making cutting-edge science
more accessible and digestible. The package includes functions
to identify available journals, retrieve articles from the
latest issues, construct prompts for summarization and generate
natural-language summaries using large language models (LLMs)
via the 'ollama' interface. Output can be formatted for use in
markdown tables, reports, or summaries. This tool is
particularly useful for researchers, educators, and clinicians
who want to stay up to date with the latest literature across
multiple disciplines.</description><link>https://github.com/r-universe/monahton/actions/runs/37188837469</link><pubDate>Fri, 11 Jul 2025 12:52:10 GMT</pubDate><r:package>NatChat</r:package><r:version>1.1.0</r:version><r:status>success</r:status><r:repository>https://monahton.r-universe.dev</r:repository><r:upstream>https://github.com/monahton/NatChat</r:upstream></item></channel></rss>
